I absolutely love living at Cornerstone. It’s truly dog-friendly, and the daily pup cups are such a thoughtful and fun touch that my dog Daisy 🌼 looks forward to every day. The property is exceptionally well maintained—clean, cared for, and always looking great. Andrew, the manager, is super excellent. He’s professional, attentive, and genuinely cares about the residents and the community here. His management really makes a difference. David the supervisor wonderful and repairs are done immediately.I couldn’t be happier calling Cornerstone home.

Overall, a very good experience during my 1st month here. The location and modern amenities are great. I love the consistent upkeep in the common areas, and maintenance is quick.The staff is generally friendly, and communication could is great. A solid choice we made to come back.

Great place to reside with lots of activities for those who wish to partake. It would be nice to see better security provided with the plans put forth this past winter for a gated community. Nothing has commenced as of yet but we are hopeful to see some progress in the not too distant future.

The Cornerstone Hauppauge is a wonderful 55+ community that offers well designed townhouses with featured amenities like a clubhouse and fitness center, and a focus on social activities and low-maintenance living. I also like that it’s somewhat a quiet environment.

The Cornerstone Hauppauge community offers an enjoyable and comfortable living experience at a reasonable rent. Events provided are frequent, fun and well attended. The amenities and property are excellent. Our management and maintenance team are thoughtful, engaging and responsive. The residents here care for one another and are considerate.

The community is a great place to live. Improvement is needed so that it is a “secure“ community as it is situated near less than ideal neighborhoods. Additionally, leases should be permitted for longer than 12 months and raising said leases should be done on a percentage basis, under 5%. My last rent increase was $200 per month (7%) and that is unacceptable as many residing in a 55+ community live on budgets & fixed incomes. Otherwise, the management personnel are lovely and easy to get along with. Maintenance requests are attended to in a timely manner.

I wish there was a pool here. A pool in a community is the best way to meet other residents. The office staff is wonderful to work with. Any issue or request that you have is handled in a very timely matter.

Cornerstone Hauppauge is an extremely enjoyable community in which to reside. The premises here are safe, quiet, clean and well maintained. Community events are frequently provided and enjoyable. The management team strive to provide all residents with an outstanding and affordable living experience. There has been an abundant increase in the amount of dog waste behind the townhomes, especially building 7. People are not picking up after their dogs. Many dogs relieve themselves very close to my patio. It is getting quite difficult to walk back there there is a walking trail) without stepping in a pile of dog pool. The piles left by the large digs here are extremely large. Its disgusting and can potentially attract rodents

The community is quiet and affords privacy along with safety. Although, adding locked gates at both entrances would secure and control access, ease any questioning minds while also adding further community appeal. The staff are all kind, welcoming, and understanding, while offering assistance whenever needed. Maintenance requests are easy and quick to file through the community App and 99% of the time handled (thank you Dave!) within 24 hours. Although my requests have never exceeded “high priority”, I am certain that anything of a more serious nature (emergency) would be tended to immediately. The community provides activities on a regular basis that are diverse and therefore attract tenants with various interests. So anyone can take what they like and leave the rest! The apartment units are modern, clean and very comfortable. While the surrounding grounds are maintained on a regular basis. I remain happy having chosen this community 6 months ago and highly recommend it to everyone!

Overall the community is lovely. The new management team is trying new events to bring the community together. I do think after three years your apartment should be repainted as well as the front door. I would also love to see privacy fences installed between the apartment patios. A hot tub or swimming pool would make the experience complete!

As my wife and I approach our fourth year living at the Cornerstone Hauppauge we are pleased being residents here. The neighborhood is active and accessible to stores and other local amenities. Our community oasis is safe, clean and peaceful. The management and maintenance staff do a wonderful job ensuring the residents enjoy their experiences here with numerous and varied Clubhouse activities. Rents are reasonable compared to other Suffolk communities and grounds maintained beautifully. Thanks Andrew, Kristina and Dave!

The apartment is clean & modern and the response time for a maintenance request is usually less than 24 hours, unless an emergency which I have not had! Management personnel are friendly and always happy to answer questions and offer help. Moving from a 3 bedroom/2.5 bath with an attached garage townhouse, to a 1 bedroom/1 bath w/outdoor parking (AND under 1000 square feet) should have been a difficult adjustment…it was & is not!! I am very happy here & so glad I chose Cornerstone over at least 20 other communities I visited or ‘interviewed’ and ruled out on the phone. At the moment, my only suggestions to make living experience better would be (IN ORDER) 1) Make this a gated community. I believe I speak for many residents when saying that although feeling secure, it would go a long way in making things safer! 2) Obtain adjacent property and build a swimming pool 3) Allow residents to have garbage pails that are affixed outdoors. Yes, this is why I gave 4 1/2 stars when moving in☺️

I have a terrible experience i complained and nothing is done I have the upstairs air coming into my unit with fragrances abs wax and the resident told me if she had a candle business she would not stop on the count of my getting sick that management would have to take the walls done or you have to move I took that to the community manager Matt Ambrosio and he did nothing I have been sitting in this 8 months now waiting on a court date to plead my case can you imagine this I can t this is hottie

We have an amazing community here in Hauppauge. Please consider the ability to pay monthly rent with a credit card (without additional fees) and also consider a discount for veterans who served our country. Many other apartment communities offer this.

Cornerstone @ Hauppauge is a wonderful place to live. The staff is amazing. Always helpful and quick to address the needs of the residents. Matthew, Michaela, and Dave provide great activities and extra care throughout each month. The residents are quick in welcoming newcomers. It is easy to find new friends here. Whether it's spending time gathering for book club, crafting, or game night there are happy times for everyone. I am so happy to be part of such an amazing community.

Our overall experience during the past three years at the Cornerstone Hauppauge has been excellent Our most recent experience occurred this past weekend when the temperature outside was in the teens and our heating system was not functioning We placed a service request with maintenance department and Dave was alerted Dave promptly called us and put repairs in motion Dave kept us informed throughout repair process and provided temporary heaters in case system vendor could not repair promptly Fortunately system was repaired few hours later Very thankful to Dave and others involved

I have been at Cornerstone Hauppauge for about five months now. It has been such a wonderful experience. The community has been so welcoming and I feel part of this family in such a short time here. Matthew, Michaela, and Dave are so friendly and helpful. They are quick to address any issues promptly. There is always so much going on at the clubhouse. Keeps me on my toes never a dull moment. From game night to potlucks it is a socially engaging and learning experience. I enjoy every minute spent with such special new friends.

I really feel at home here the apt I love it’s hime and Matt and Michaela make me feel part of the family Love the people to it felt like sitting at my family tab,e getting together like a family get together just a nice warm feeling and welcoming. They should sell the units to people who want to stay but I don’t know it’s a good question 🙋‍♀️ I just love it here I feel right at home and not many places do you find that The corner stone should build more places like this it’s beautiful and it’s sold foundation just love it And I Merton Dave he was very nice too he help me fix my shower and showed me that the bar turns I didn’t even know that lol. I truly can say you won’t find another apt like this one Long Island I looked and didn’t feel at home or was all a business not this place I feel right at home

I have been a resident of this community for one year. It is a quiet community, very well kept and just steps from the LIE. Residents are barely seen except when there is an activity or event in clubhouse. Staff is friendly and very helpful and accommodating. Property manager Michaela is a sweetheart and aims to please everyone. I have no complaints and so far I’m very happy living here.

I love my townhouse and the community ❤️. It's like having an extended family that's always there for each other . Our new managers are absolutely wonder. If they're any maintenance issues which are rare its adressed immediately. They create special weekly activities for all the residents. I highly recommend Cornerstone

Communal living comes with its challenges Neighbors occasionally do things which are inconsiderate of others Fortunately the Cornerstone Hauppauge management addresses resident's issues promptly and firmly It is a beautiful and well maintained property Events here are fun, varied and frequent I encourage all residents to promptly report breaches of rules such as personal barbecues, fencing, inappropriate parking and outdoor eyesores to management so that we can all continue to enjoy our shared experience at this great place

Living here is stress free. If anything needs to be fixed or addressed management and maintenance are on it. The property is well maintained and clean. Activities are planned but they are usually to early for me Ti attend. There is plenty of parking. A fire inspection was done for the first time since I’ve been here( almost 3 years). I wish they would change batteries routinely in the smoke detectors. I had one that needed new batteries but I don’t know for how long it was non functioning which is a little scary. All in all a great place to live

Nice residence good management. Pretty complex quiet complex. But no pool. Gazebo is nice to have. Small complex makes it kind of quaint. I wish as do many residents that the public open areas had more surveillance cameras because of the way this world is going and also because of deliveries and people speeding sometimes.

Last year I gave 5 stars. This year only 3. The community has changed. This was a clean place with respectful neighbors but no more. Now there are commercial trucks parked in handicapped spots and large commercial trucks taking up 2 spots. some trucks haven't moved from parking spots, People do not respect the garbage rules and pile the garbage up in front of their door. Pet owners are leaving dog poop all over because they don't feel like cleaning up after their pet. They allow 3 adults a baby and a pet in a 1 bedroom apartment. The landscapers never put down new mulch on the hiking trail behind my building but did the rest of the complex. This is taking away from the good things the community does.

The apartments themselves are great - Feels like an individual house instead of an "apartment" - People are also great but, the community is located in a horrid neighborhood. Gates should be put up to ensure all people entering the community are vetted.

The bathtubs need to be much bigger than they are, they are hard to get out of and you can’t even stretch your legs in the tub. Maintenance is not consistent and the property cleanliness suffers because of it.

We have been living here just under a year and we love it. The property is well maintained and we have no issues with parking. The walls must be sound proof because we never hear our neighbors on either side. No trouble with heat or hot water. Love that it is pet friendly. I enjoy seeing everyone walking their dogs. Great staff too.

So the Community is very clean. They have a great clubhouse that is very modern and spacious and is available for rent. The management staff is very nice. The grounds are well-kept and maintained.. The maintenance crew always plows shovels and the ice is the walkways. This is a pet friendly community so there are a lot of dogs. The management staff always has something going on at the clubhouse which is a very nice touch.

Community is okay. The garbage pals should be much larger for the garbage pickup you cannot fit your garbage bag inside the pail at all unless you shove it in and break it. It's unfortunate that the nature trail goes right through your backyard and people are basically walking in front of your back door. It's too bad it doesn't have a pool and unfortunately it is not fenced in other than that it's a nice place

From the first phone call I made to Meghan, Manager at Cornerstone, I was pleased. She was thorough, friendly and helpful. When I came to see the apartment in person, I had a wonderful experience with Theresa. She was knowledgeable, answered all my questions and was a pleasure to deal with. I loved the look of the apartment right away. I even met 2 of my neighbors on that day. Theresa was quick in getting the lease ready to sign, took care of having the apartment cleaned and had the keys ready to turn over within 1 day. I was impressed at how professional and thorough Theresa was and still is. Both Meaghan and Theresa are real assets to this company. Now that I have been living here for almost 2 weeks, I have experienced some of the great amenities and love living here. The grounds are well-kept and my apartment has wonderful conveniences. I am more than happy I found this little community and feel sure I will enjoy living here for the next year.

We love our new apartment. All appliances work well and the central air conditioning is great for these hot humid days. Everyone is friendly and we feel very safe living here.

So far, so good. Been here three weeks, and I'm loving it. Nice and quiet, absolutely no noise from neighbors on either side coming through the walls. This place is sound-proof!!! People are real friendly too. Just needs a pool and a hot tub.

Only been here a short time, but we love our apartment. The people we have met have been friendly and I love seeing all the dogs being walked. We are very happy with our decision to move here.
